About the CIArb

The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) (Malaysia Branch) is a non-profit organisation working in the public interest to promote alternative dispute resolution (ADR) as a mode to resolve commercial disputes efficiently. Presently, it has a local membership of 430. The CIArb has a global membership of around 14,000 individuals who have professional training or experience in ADR.

We exist for the global promotion, facilitation and development of all forms of ADR. In addition to providing education and training for ADR practitioners, we act as a centre dedicated to providing world-class quality and efficient service to ADR practitioners, policy makers, academics and those related in the dispute resolution industry.

Services

CIArb (Malaysia Branch) provides the following services:

• To promote international and domestic commercial arbitration by;
• To promote awareness of and provide education and training relating to ADR;
• To advise and assist various entities including governmental departments in formulating and making recommendations in respect of legislation and procedures relating to ADR;
